Wayne Antworth 

Wayne Antworth has worked in fundraising and development for over 25 years. He has worked as a hands-on professional directing development programs and has raised significant gifts directly from donors. He has also consulted with churches and non-profit organizations on capital campaigns, annual giving, planned giving, leadership development and strategic financial planning.

He is an ordained Minister in the Reformed Church in America and has served congregations in Denver, Colorado; Kuwait, Arabia; and Madison, Wisconsin. He served as Director of Communication and Development and President of the Reformed Church in America Foundation for 19+ years. Wayne was also the Minister for Stewardship, Special Gifts and Administration at Marble Collegiate Church in New York City and for the past four years he has served as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Guideposts and President of the Guideposts Foundation. 

Wayne is a graduate of Gordon-Barrington College in Barrington, Rhode Island, and Denver Theological Seminary. He also has a certificate in Not-For-Profit Management from Columbia University. Wayne is a member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP) and was actively involved in the work of the Ecumenical Stewardship Center for 20+ years.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS. Wayne has assisted over 30 congregations and organizations in successfully planning and completing capital campaigns for building projects, debt reduction and other ministry programs. He provides the expertise necessary to execute all phases of a capital campaign starting from the pre-campaign feasibility study through the post-campaign celebration.
